Newlands Farmhouse Kitchen

This beautiful family home in Newlands near Luton, Bedfordshire features an impressive farmhouse style kitchen.

Having decided to refit the kitchen and knock through to another room the homeowners commissioned local kitchen showroom, de Mornay Boyes, to redesign the new space.

"De Mornay Boyes" design featured quite a light natural stone worksurface, back splashes, sink surround and windowsill. The designers suggested that the homeowners visit The Marble & Granite Centre’s stock yard to choose their natural stone surface. Bianca Eclipsia, in a polished finish was the final material of choice and works perfectly with the relatively neutral colour scheme whilst providing a fantastic stark contrast to the bright red range cooker and accessories.

The owner says "The staff at The Marble & Granite Centre were very helpful. We had an idea that we liked a grey granite and they helped us choose Bianca Eclipsia, which is a Brazilian quartzite, and we are very happy with the final product for our worktops."
